CHESTNUT
Lydia M. Chestnut, 81, of Sedalia, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, in the Arbors at
London.
Born Nov. 18, 1931, in Cheshire, Ohio, she was a daughter of Pearl and Hulda Marie (Scott) Amos.
Lydia was a member of the Sedalia Church of Christ in Christian Union.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph H. Chestnut; son, Mark E. (Beth) Chestnut of Grove City; daughter, Ramona Kay (Ed) Conley of Ludlow Falls; grandsons, Mark A. Chestnut (Katie Hill) of Galloway and Scott B. Chestnut (Carolyne McIntosh) of Columbus; great-grandson, Luke A. Hill of Galloway; brothers, Galen Amos of Columbus; sisters, Jennie Amos McNeal of West Milton, Lyvonia Amos (Roy) Boggs of Middleport, Oretha Amos Ryder of Gallipolis, Maxine Amos (David) Harner of Albany, Ohio and Lavada Amos Barcus of Lake Park, Georgia; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Luther Amos; sisters, Tracey Amos DeLozier and Deloris Amos; half brothers, Alva Amos and Bruce Rogers; and half sister, Mary Meyers.
Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, in the Sedalia Church of Christ in Christian Union. Rev. Gordon Ell will be officiating. Friends may call at the church from 1 p.m. until time of services Sunday. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, in Range Township Cemetery, Sedalia.
