Update on culvert work in Madison County

According to a press release issued by the Ohio Department of Transportation, state Route 38 will remain closed in both directions at Finley Guy Road through 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, for culvert replacement.

The road closed last Wednesday, and crews were hoping to have it open today, but weather has postponed completion of the work until Friday afternoon.

The detour will be SR 29 east to SR 42 north to SR 161 west to SR 38 and reverse.

Drivers commuting to London from Marysville or north of SR 161 will be affected.  Drivers should plan ahead and take an alternate route.
