Tri-County Auxiliary holds candy sale to benefit fire department

Help the local fire department and, at the same time, “sweeten” the holiday season by making a candy purchase from the Tri-County Fire Department Auxiliary. These ladies have assembled a broad range of “sweet stuff” — from spice drops to caramel pecan clusters — to provide not only an edible gift but also help the firefighters.
Proceeds of the candy sales will be used by the fire department to purchase equipment they deem necessary in their work, but which may cost beyond what the department’s budget can afford.
“It’s for the guys to get what they want for the department,” said Candy Rader, president of the auxiliary.
The auxiliary offers 10 varieties of candy in a range of prices per pound starting at $2.50. Auxiliary members packaged the confections in one-pound packages, which could be given or, opened and consumed. When it’s gone, it’s gone.
Candy store hours are: 4-8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday; 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sunday. Rader said customers should look for the sign in the door.
The candy sale will go on through Sunday, Dec. 23 or until the supply is depleted.

Where is this sale being held? It would be beneficial to Tri County Fire if an address was provided.
