JoLynn (Cathel) Davis, 51, of Mt. Sterling, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Dec. 10, 2012.

She was born Aug. 16, 1961, in Columbus, Ohio.

JoLynn was married to Mike Davis on Oct. 10, 1981.

She was a retired Florist at Kroger on 665.

She is survived by husband, James (Mike, JD) Davis; daughter, Sarah Davis; son, Anthony “AJ” Davis; granddaughter, Isabella; parents, Joe and Barb Cathel, Jackie and Roger Miller; parents-in-law, James W. and Ina Davis; many surviving family and friends.

A Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W. Main St., Mt. Sterling. Rev. Edwin Martin will be officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Cemetery. Following the funeral a lunch will be served at the Harrisburg United Methodist Church. All are welcome. Family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 17. Casual dress is requested by the family.
