Trudy Weiss, 80, of London, died at Mount Carmel Medical Center, Columbus on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012.

She was born on May 2, 1932, in Germany, to Albert and Barbara (Veit) Esslinger.

She came to the United States and London in 1956.

She had worked at Purex in London from where she retired after 40 years.

Survivors include her son, Harold Esslinger in Germany; She is also survived by her best friend and like a son, Donald (Susan) Cox and his daughter, Michele Patterson and granddaughters, Tori and Mackenzie; good friends, Mary Bush and the Speasmaker Family; and her beloved dog, Chico.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Donald Weiss; friend, Don Speasmaker; and her brother, Erich Esslinger.

Per Trudy’s request, she was cremated and there will be no calling hours. Arrangements are pending for a memorial service.
