MARKHAM

JoAnn (Rowley) Markham, 82, of London, died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, at her residence.

She was born April 4, 1930, in Pickaway County, Ohio.

She was retired from Mount Carmel Medical Center.

A member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Lilly Chapel of which she was the pianist for many years. She had a love of music, cooking, football and the days that were spent at the Harrisburg Senior Center.

She was the daughter of the late Oscar and Velma (Huffman) Rowley. Also preceding her in death was husband, Rufus Markham Jr. and brother, William Rowley.

She is survived by children, Cathy Baer, Christy Meeker, Suzanne (Ted) Daniels, and John (Nancy) Markham; grandchildren, Vanessa, Megan, Erin, Jake, Jenna, Emily, Samantha, Lauren, Kate, Bob and Brandi; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Matt, Sam and Nyla.

A Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W. Main St., Mt. Sterling. Rev. Jesse Blevins will be officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 18, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, family suggest memorial contributions to Trinity United Methodist Church, 8530 Lilly Chapel-Georgesville Road S.E., London, OH 43140.
