LINDSEY
Maxwell R. “Max” Lindsey, 77, of West Jefferson, passed away Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, in his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was born Sept. 24, 1935, in Ashville, the son of the late Stanley and Della Lindsey.
Max was a union carpenter-lather.
He was a member of the Posse Band, Madison County Mounted Patrol, West Jefferson VFW, and he loved to trail riding and motorcycling.
He is survived by three children, Ande (Chet) Harris, Kirk (Tonia) Lindsey, and Douglas Lindsey, all of West Jefferson; two grandchildren, Jessica (Trevor) Fortin of South Carolina and Cody Lindsey of West Jefferson; three brothers, Don, Jack, and Ivan Lindsey; nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by parents; wife, Jeanne A. Lindsey on Oct. 4, 2012; two brothers, Larry and Bob Lindsey.
It was Max’s wish to be cremated. In accordance with his wishes, there will be no formal service.
The family wishes to express a special thanks to Loving Care Hospice to whom memorial contributions may be made: Loving Care Hospice, P.O. Box 445, London, OH 43140.
The family is being served by the RADER-McDONALD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 W. Main St., West Jefferson.
