KAISER

Howard L. Kaiser, 59, of Zanesfield, passed away unexpectedly Monday morning, Oct. 29, 2012, at the Mary Rutan Hospital, Bellefontaine.

Born May 20, 1953, in Marysville.

Howie was a very passionate and active firefighter for almost 40 years, most recently with the Perry Township Fire Department, East Liberty and previously with Pleasant Valley Fire Department, Plain City.

He was 1971 graduate of Jonathan Alder High School.

Preceded in death by parents, Ivan and Helen (Trees) Kaiser.

Survived by loving wife, Ina (Jackson) Kaiser, whom he married April 27, 1974; children, Angela (William) Merriman and Kevin (Sherry) Kaiser and canine companions, Helen, Nora, Tooty, Stewart, Miah and Marsha.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, at the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 202 E. Main St. (state Route 161 W.), Plain City, where the funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012. Pastor Gene Phelps will be officiating. Burial will be at Jerome Township Cemetery, Plain City.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Kaiser family to defray recently incurred expenses.
