ZANESVILLE — On Saturday, Oct. 6, several Thunderfoot Karate students traveled to Coszacks Rocktober Karate Championship Tournament in Zanesville. Among those competing were, front row from left: Essence Jackson (first in weapons, first in grappling and second in sparring), Natalie Hicks (first in kata, first in weapons, first in sparring, first in grappling and second in synchronized kata), Chloe Fout (first in kata, first in weapons, first in sparring, first in grappling, second in synchronized kata), Abby Perry, (first in sparring, first in weapons, first in kata, second in grappling), and Tori Bennett (first in synchronized kata, second in weapons, third in kata) In back are: Maria Fout (first in weapons, first in grappling, first in sparring) Master Thad Hughes and Emily Bennett (first in synchronized kata, third in sparring, fourth in kata).
