SOCKMAN

Margaret Faye Sockman, 58, of Mt. Sterling, died Wednesday evening, Oct. 3, 2012, at her residence.

She was born Nov. 2, 1953 in Columbus, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Maxine (Scott) Burchett; grandmother, Margaret Menshousen.

Survived by husband, Terry Sockman; sons, Daniel Sockman and Joseph Burchett; sister, Shirley (Jack) Sockman; special nephew and caregiver, James Linville; special nephew, Charlie Sockman; special friends, Kenny and Sandra Smith and the Porter family.

A Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W. Main St., Mt. Sterling. Rev. Kenny Smith will be officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 7.
