Vigil remembers Ohio teen killed in crashVigil remembers Ohio teen killed in crash

CENTERVILLE, Ohio (AP) — A candlelight gathering in front of his old high school celebrated the life of a southern Ohio teen killed in a car accident over the weekend.

Family and friends held vigil in front of Centerville High School near Dayton Sunday night to remember Mitchell Haber. The 19-year-old and a friend were involved in a crash early Sunday morning.

Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers said Haber lost control of his 2002 Ford Mustang and slammed into a tree. He was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the car.

His passenger, 19-year-old Alex C. Lovett, is in critical condition.

The teens graduated from Centerville High School earlier this year.
