SCHWAIGERT

Ralph “Ike” Schwaigert, 83, of Columbus, died Friday, Aug. 31, 2012, in Doctors West Hospital.

He was born April 3, 1929, in Columbus, Ohio, the son of the late Frank and Anna (Stroup) Schwaigert.

Ike was a retired truck driver.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Joy Schwaigert; sons, James (Rachel) Schwaigert, Rodney (Elaine) Schwaigert, Roger Schwaigert, all of Columbus; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has been requested. Burial of his ashes will be at a later date in Pleasant Cemetery, Mt. Sterling, Ohio.

The family is being served by PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W. Main St., Mt. Sterling.
