NEAL

Lawrence David Neal, 64, of London, passed peacefully on Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, in his residence.

“Dave” was born April 4, 1948, in Laramie County in Wyoming, a son of Billy and Velda (Ellsworth) Neal.

Dave proudly served his country during the Vietnam War.

He was a cross-country truck driver most of his life, enjoying the open road. He also was an avid gardener and a great cook.

Survivors are his wife, Vicki; sons, Greg and Kyle; a daughter, Sara; stepsons, Bob (Jane) Weeter, and Dwayne (Janette) Weeter; stepdaughter, Teresa (Mike) Campbell; grandchildren, Kevin, Katie, and Jon; great-grandson, Mason; dear friends, Dan Guthrie and Paul Nelis; and a host of friends who became family.

There will be a memorial celebration for Dave at Jim’s Bar, 128 S. Main St. in London from 1-6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012. Proceeds from this celebration will be used to help defray funeral expenses.

The family is being assisted by the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main St., London, OH 43140.

Additional contributions may be sent to the funeral home.
