HADDOX

Walter E. Haddox, 72, of Five Points, died Friday, Aug. 31, 2012, in OSU Medical Center as the result of an auto accident.

He was born Aug. 20, 1940, in Columbus, Ohio, the son of the late Charles and Margaret (Boysel) Haddox.

He is survived by his wife, Alice Haddox; sons, Walter E. Haddox Jr. (Lisa) of Darbyville, Rick Lee Haddox (Nadine Fuller) of Five Points, Mike Haddox (Marlene) of Five Points; daughter, Darcy Haddox (Paul) Grubb of Five Points; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles (Linda) Haddox and Meinhart (Sue) Haddox; sister, Rebecca Kingsland; numerous nieces and nephews.

A Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W. Main St., Mt. Sterling. Burial will follow in Darbyville Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 4.
