Evening bike ride scheduled

The next Full Moon bicycle ride will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 29 at the Prairie Grass Trailhead. Two distances are offered: a 10 mile ride to Botkin road and return and to South Charleston and return. For the latter riders can anticipate a stop at the Purple Monkey for refreshments. The longer ride will leave first.

Wayne Roberts said the last two full moon rides “have been a blast with recording-breaking attendance.”

Wear light-colored clothing and equip the bicycle with lights front and rear for maximum visibility. As a caution, insects may be flying so goggles for eye protection are advised.
