Test drive a car; help Madison-Plains, London
Test drive a vehicle from Buckeye Ford during a special event held noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, and the Ford Motor Company will donate $20 to Madison-Plains cross country, golf and track teams.
The teams have partnered with Buckeye Ford in hopes of raising $6,000 for the programs during the third annual Drive One 4 UR School test drive event.
The spring event was successful bringing in a little more than $1,000 to the three teams.
Here are the details:
— Ford Motor Company will donate $20 for each person who drives a car
— Each test drive takes about 10 minutes on a predetermined route
— There will be absolutely no sales pitch
— Drivers must be licensed and at least 18 years of age
— Limited to one driver per household (per address)
• On Saturday, Aug. 25, the London boys basketball program has been invited to participate in the “DRIVE ONE 4UR SCHOOL” event at Buckeye Ford.
The event is from noon to 4 p.m. The test drive will only take 5-10 minutes and there is no cost involved to participate. Lunch also will be provided after you test drive.
The program will make money based on the number of drivers that test drive the vehicles. Test drivers must have a valid driver’s license for the event, must be 18 years of age, and only one participant per household.
