SLABAUGH
Omer T. Slabaugh, 82, of London, passed away Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born Nov. 23, 1929, in Nappanee, Indiana.
Omer was a loving, caring husband, father, (great) grandfather, uncle and brother.
You taught us to love others, to be giving and to forgive just as you did.
Omer could accomplish anything he set his mind to do. He took pride and joy in restoring antiques.
We will miss you here on earth but you will be forever in our hearts.
We want to say a special thanks to Hospice and to all of you for your visits and prayers through this time.
Preceded in death by two sons: Stanley in 1954 and Ernie in 2011.
Survived by loving wife of 61 years, Marie (Kaufman) Slabaugh; children, Ken (Pat) Slabaugh of Oxford, Pennsylvania, Susie (Bill) Norris of Powell, Cindy (Brent) Ellis of Plain City, Karen (Stu) Wise of Dublin; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012, at the Sharon Mennonite Church, 7675 Amity Pike, Plain City, where the services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 27, 2012, with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Pastor Bob Yoder will be officiating. Burial will be at Sharon Mennonite Cemetery.
