MEYER

Bernice E. Meyer, 92, of London, passed away Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012, in the Sanctuary at Tuttle Crossing.

Born Sept. 9, 1919, in Orchard Park (East Hamburg), New York, she was a daughter of Millard F. and Annie (Berry) Pirdy.

A member of the Red Hat Society; Bernice belonged to the Red Bonnet Biddies in London.

She was the beloved mother of Sandra Meyer and Suzanne (Peter) Tobin, all of London and Richard (Tina) Meyer of Lewis Center; she was also the beloved grandmother of Dawn (Robert) Fralick, Traci (Timothy) Petrides, Paul Clarke (Kate) Tobin, Joshua Ryan Tobin, Rachel Dawson and Erin Meyer; she also leaves behind great-grandchildren, Cody Fralick, Morgan Petrides, Wade Petrides and Eliah Tobin; sister, Joyce Frantz of Colden, New York; many nieces and nephews; and her little dog Dora.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Paul C. Meyer; brothers, Warren Pirdy and James Pirdy; and sister, Mina Taylor.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, in the First United Methodist Church of London. Reverend Steve Rodgers will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until time of services.

If they wish, friends may make memorial contributions to Madison County Health Partners Free Clinic, 210 N. Main St., London, OH 43140.

The family is being served by the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main St., London, OH 43140.
