London tennis prevails, 3-2

The London girls tennis team won all three singles matches against rival Madison-Plains on Thursday night en route to a 3-2 South Central Ohio League victory.
Morgan Brewer beat Amanda Dandt,
6-2, 6-3, while Kayla McDaniel topped Sarah Shepard, 6-3, 6-0, and Tyler Green bettered Brianna Zambori, 6-1, 6-0.
At doubles, Madison-Plains prevailed in both matches. It was Casey Knisley and Bailey Mierzesewki over Miranda Jameson and Eileen Snyder, 6-2, 6-0. At second doubles, Rachel Cordle and Jess Lahna beat Paige Gilliam and April Harris, 6-3, 6-4.
“I felt that we had a strong showing on all courts today.” London coach Justin Dible said. “We are really starting to play some great tennis and I hope we can build on these wins. We did lose at both doubles positions today but they fought at good fight the whole match.”
