Lemasters captured

London resident Donald Lemasters, 44, is no longer a fugitive from justice.

London Police Chief Dave Wiseman said U.S. Marshals captured Lemasters about 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the home of a family member in Warren, Ohio. Wiseman was unable to provide additional details.

Lemasters has been on the lam since July 17, when he failed to show up for a jury trial in Madison County Common Pleas Court to face child pornography charges. He was on house arrest at his Liberty Street residence at the time.

Wiseman sought help from the U.S. Marshals Service in tracking Lemasters after local efforts proved fruitless.
