HOUSTON

Marthasue (Sue) Arganbright Houston of London, Ohio, died peacefully, aged 82, on Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012, 10:57 p.m. at Madison County Hospital.

Sue was born on July 24, 1930, in West Jefferson, Ohio.

She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Rupert Austin, of Faversham, England; cousin, Sally Rees, of West Jefferson; sisters-in-law, Helen Ann Decker and Joan Houston, of New Jersey; several nieces, nephews, cousins and close and loyal friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Edward Houston in 2004; and parents, Edwin H. and Lucille (Clark) Arganbright.

Sue graduated from West Jefferson High School in 1948 and the Ohio State University College of Nursing in 1952.

Memberships included Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Society, Madison Herb Society, American Legion Auxiliary Post 201, West Jefferson, Clan Donald USA and Coover Society.

She was a member of St. Patrick’s Church of London and its Alter Rosary Society.

Sue will be remembered as a strong and loving person who lived her life to the fullest and shared this spirit with her friends and relatives.

Friends may call at St. Patrick’s Church Parish Center, 61 S. Union St., London, from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 27, with a wake service to follow. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, at St. Patrick’s Church. Father Ted Sill will be officiating. Interment service will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, West Jefferson.
