Frances L. “Fran” Follrod, 91, formerly of Mt. Sterling, died Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, in Madison Senior Living Community in London.

She was born Sept. 16, 1920, in Madison County, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Ellet and Elizabeth (Rader) Wickline.

Fran retired from Orient State in Management after 32 years.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Mt. Sterling; UMW; Rebecca Circle; Star Grange; Pomona Grange; State Grange; National Grange; and Monrovian Garden Club.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Allen Raymond Follrod; sisters, Gladys Tresenrider, Lorene Gerard, and Carolyn Myers; brothers, John and Allen Wickline.

She is survived by sisters, Lucille (Ed) Junk of Canton, Alice (Bill) Spohn of Centerville, and Weltha Folsom of Mt. Sterling; brothers, Carl (Marian) Wickline of Mesquite, Nevada, Paul (Dolly) Wickline of Mt. Sterling; sister-in-law, Martha Follrod of Mt. Sterling; numerous nieces and nephews.

A Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012, at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W. Main St., Mt. Sterling. Rev. Michael Berne will be officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Cemetery. Family will receive friends beginning at noon until time of service.
