Cheryl Lynn Cottrill, 61, of London, born June 23, 1951, passed away Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012.

Graduate of Westfall High School and Ohio University.

Cheryl taught first and second grades in the Westfall School District for 30 years.

Preceded in death by father, Joe Cottrill.

Survived by partner, Jerry Alcott; mother, Betty Jane Cottrill; sisters and brother-in-laws, Glenna (Darrell) Wisecup, Tina (Mike) White and Vicki (Brian) Williams; brother, Scott Cottrill; nieces and nephews, Drew (Jill) Wisecup, Tyler (Jaime) Wisecup, Corey and Lauren White, Kyndall and Kylee Williams and Cole and Amber Cottrill; great nephew, Tanner Wisecup; and a host of good friends.

Family will receive friends 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29, at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W. Main St., Mt. Sterling, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012. Deacon John Vellani will be officiating. Interment will be at Springlawn Cemetery, Williamsport, OH 43164.
