BRYANT
Donna Jean Bryant, 62, of Raymond, died Monday Aug. 20, 2012, surrounded by family at her home following a 3 year battle with liver cancer.
She was a dedicated 18 year associate of Honda of America where she worked in various facilities where she enjoyed the company of her co-workers.
She enjoyed trips to the beach, collecting lighthouses, gardening, and antiquing with her best friend Donna Dykes. She had a passion for learning new things, was an avid reader and also enjoyed writing her own short stories.
Donna loved taking her grandchildren to the movies, out to dinner and parks, and loved listening to their stories and teaching them the lessons of life.
She was born Oct. 6, 1949, in Racine, to Sheridan and Sylvia Gilliland Scarberry.
She was preceded in death by her father, Sheridan; and a stepfather, Francis Rambacher.
Donna will be greatly missed by her mother, Sylvia Rambacher of Marysville; stepmother, Patricia Scarberry of Kimbolton; a daughter, Chrissy (Jerry) McClary of Raymond; a son, Eli (Trisha) Bryant of Marysville; grandchildren, Holly, Logan, Jesse and Willow McClary; grand-dog, Kayla; siblings, Tom (Betty Ann) Scarberry of Akron, Mike Scarberry of Akron; David Schaffer of Norwich; best friend, Donna Dykes of Huntsville; and many other friends and relatives.
A celebration of her life will be a potluck gathering at the family home at 25096 Storms Road, West Mansfield (outside of Raymond) at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Loving Care Hospice of Marysville or Operation Smile in care of INGRAM FUNERAL HOME, 975 N. Maple St., Marysville, who is completing arrangements.
