ACKLEY

Eileen “Miss Dizz” Ackley, 83, of London, died Monday morning, Aug. 27, 2012, in her home. She was born July 1, 1929, in London, Ohio, a daughter of Arthur and Edith (Justice) Persinger.

Miss Dizz was a life member of the former H.V. Christopher Post No. 1176 Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary, and a life member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 950 Auxiliary.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, William and Mary Jo Browning of London, Steve and Celia Browning of South Solon; grandchildren, Bailey Britton, Kale Terpening and Adam and Noah Browning; great-grandchildren, Will, Brooklyn and Wesley Browning; sister, Fannie Gibson of London; ”special son” Gene Ball of London; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, William “Wade” Browning; second husband, Bill Ackley; two sisters; and one brother.

The family invites friends to call at the RADER-LYNCH & DODDS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 124 E. High St., London, from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 30. Following Miss Dizz’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.

Contributions may be made in her memory to the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 950 Auxiliary Scholarship Fund, 16 S. Union St., London.
