VULGAMORE JR.

John W. Vulgamore Jr., 41, of Williamsport, died Tuesday evening, July 24, 2012, in Berger Hospital (ER) as the result of an auto accident.

He was born Nov. 24, 1970, in Columbus, Ohio.

John was employed at Walmart Distribution in Grove City.

He participated in numerous Demolition Derbies; Round Track Racing with his No. 13 car.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Lawrence Vulgamore Jr. and Virginia Vulgamore; grandfather, Clarence Liff.

He is survived by his wife, Stephanie; sons, John W. Vulgamore III of U.S. Marines, Jared V. and Jordan L. Vulgamore at home; daughters, Sierra L. and Savanna L., both at home; parents, John and Pam (Liff) Vulgamore of Mt. Sterling; grandmother, Aileen Nance of Mt. Sterling; sister, Dawn (Stan) Liff of Mt. Sterling; five nieces and one nephew.

A Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 27, 2012, at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W. Main St., Mt. Sterling. Rev. Dortha Ross will be officiating. The burial will follow in Pleasant Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 26.
