RICHARDSON

Taylor K. (Flat Top) Richardson, 71, of Mt. Sterling, passed away after his battle with cancer to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 1, 2012.

He was born Aug. 23, 1940, in Hillsboro, Ohio.

He was a Veteran of the U. S. Army; Armored; retired Teamsters; several Safety Citations.

Preceded in death by his parents, Hobart and Gladys (King) Richardson; sisters, Frances Bauer, Patricia Braud, and Pauline Comer; first wife, Carolyn Kay Howland.

He is survived by wife, Armita (Capocciama); sons, Terry (Dawn) Phillip of Jeffersonville, Taylor Craig of Kiousville; brothers, Hobart Richardson Jr. (Blanche) of Washington Court House, Randall Richardson (Rosemary) of Columbus, Gary Lee Richardson (Darlene) of Mt. Sterling; grandchildren, Taylor King, Brooke, Kayla; great-grandchild, Kael; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

In keeping with the wishes of Mr. Richardson, an Anatomical Donation to the Ohio State University has been requested. There will be a Memorial graveside service in Dennison Chapel Cemetery at a later date.

Family suggest memorial contributions may be given to Mount Carmel Hospice, c/o Mount Carmel Foundation, 6150 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43213-9924.

The Richardson family is being served by the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W. Main St., Mt. Sterling.
