Betty Lee McGinnis, 84, of Mt. Sterling, died Monday, July 2, 2012, at her residence.

She was born May 25, 1928, in Columbus, Ohio.

Preceded in death by parents, Charles and Hazel (Andrews) Miller; husband, Robert McGinnis; and brother, James Miller.

She is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Lygia (James) Morgan of Mt. Sterling; grandchildren, Robert M. Tischler, John W. Morgan, Anastazia Morgan; great-granddaughter, Karlie Bray Tischler; brother, Charles “Dee” Miller of Plain City; several dear cousins.

A Memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. on Friday, July 6, 2012, at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W. Main St., Mt. Sterling. Rev. Jim Blankenship of Odyssey Hospice will be officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to time of service.
