BRADY

John “Jack” Allen Brady, 65, of Plain City, died on Thursday, July 26, 2012.

He is survived by his wife, Judith A. (Lockwood) Brady; sons, Jason, Joseph (Maureen), and  Jonathan (Heather); stepdaughters, Cynthia (Jeff) Cooper and Kathryn (James) Bair; grandchildren, Joey, John, Teagan and Brighid Brady, Keira Brady, Rylan Brady, Ashlyn Methvin, Austen and Collen Pulfer, Zachary and Taylor Bair; brother, James Brady; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kermit Brady and Helen Lucille (Braskett) Brady Baer.

Jack graduated from West High School in 1964 and The Ohio State University in 1970 where upon he dedicated his working life in the grocery management business.

He was a member of the Plain City Presbyterian Church and the Madison County Gideons, and helped with the Union County Meals on Wheels.

Jack loved to garden and cook and many enjoyed “Jack’s Coneys!” He was also an avid Buckeye football fan.

Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 30, 2012, at the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 202 E. Main St., Plain City, Ohio, where the family will receive friends from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, July 29, and one hour prior to the service. Burial to follow at 2:30 p.m. in the Zanesfield Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jack’s name are preferred to the Plain City Presbyterian Church.
