Joseph Ryan “J.R.” Anderson, 32, born May 3, 1980, passed away Monday, July 16, 2012.

He worked for Ohio Willow Wood, Cott Systems and T.S. Tech. He was last employed as an IT Systems Administrator at the State of Ohio Public Defenders Office.

He received a Business Science Degree.

He enjoyed golf, basketball, fishing and weightlifting.

J.R. was a blood donor, outstanding member of society and a supporter of children charities.

Survived by parents, James Bret and Cecilia Anderson; grandmother, Bonnie Anderson; brothers, Dwight and Christopher; aunts and uncles, Teri and Phil Ley, Todd Anderson, Laura Riffle, Eugene Nelson, Genevieve and Kenny Schlosser, Tim Nelson, Inez and Randy Muncy, Charlie Nelson, Cecil and Cheryl Nelson; along with many special cousins.

Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 21, 2012, at PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W. Main St., Mt. Sterling, where a memorial service will follow at noon. Family will receive friends for food and fellowship at the Mt. Sterling Community Center, 164 E. Main St., Mt. Sterling, OH 43143 following the memorial service.
