BARKER

Ruby Cathleen Barker, 82, of Plain City, went home to be with the Lord, Monday evening, May 21, 2012, at Milcrest Nursing Home, Marysville.

Born Oct. 4, 1929, in Lawrence County, Kentucky.

Member of the Spring Fork Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by parents, Noah and Alma (Lester) Phillips; husband, Ernest Barker in 1996; four brothers; one sister.

Survived by daughters, Ernestine (William) Young of Plain City, Diana (David) Barrett of Marysville; seven grandchildren, Allen Young, Crystal (Steve) Block, Sherry (Paul) Lyon, Julia Ott, Amber Jarvis, Nick Ott, Kayla Ott; great-grandchildren, Stewart Morris, Mikiyla, Kristian, Olivia; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 24, at the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 202 E. Main St. (state Route 161 W.), Plain City, where the funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 25, 2012. Burial will be at Forest Grove Cemetery.
