GREGG

Elsie M. Gregg, 82, of London, died Wednesday, April 11, 2012, in the Arbors at London.

Born April 28, 1929, in Madison County, she was a daughter of Leslie and Ruth (Shaffer) Everetts.

Elsie was a nurses’ aide working for the State of Ohio at Orient and Springfield and retiring in 1991 from Springview in Springfield after 30 years of service.

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in London.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Lester Newsome of London; granddaughter, Christina Louise (Charles Jr.) Fisher of London; great-grandson, Dalton James Fisher of London; sisters, Nancy and Ruth; brother, Bill Everetts; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert J. Gregg in 1996; and brothers, Richard, Gaylord, Lewis, Henry and Wilbur.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 15, 2012, in Kirkwood Cemetery, London. Father Frank Edmands will be officiating. Visitation will not be observed.

The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
