James Albert Elliott, 64, of London, died Saturday evening, April 7, 2012, in the Madison County Hospital.
He was born on Dec. 31, 1947, in Columbus, Ohio, a son of Albert Clifford and Evelyn (Baughn) Elliott.
James was employed at MATCO and loved swimming and bowling.
He is survived by his brother, Charlie Elliott of London; several nieces and nephews and many friends at Champaign Residential.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Cecil and Melvin Elliott; and sister-in-law, Kay (Potts) Elliott.
James’ family invites friends to call at the RADER-LYNCH & DODDS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 124 E. High St., London, from 10 a.m. until time of service at noon on Saturday, April 14, 2012. Interment will follow in Pleasant Cemetery, Mt. Sterling. Father Mark Ghiloni of St. Patrick Catholic Church will be officiating.
In lieu of floral tributes, the family request memorial contributions be made to Champaign Residential Services, Bill Butler Fund, 1150 Scioto St., Suite 100, Urbana, OH 43078. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
