Nathaniel Dean Huffman, 30, died unexpectedly Friday, March 23, 2012, in his residence.
He was born April 29, 1981, in London, Ohio.
Survivors include his father, Marshal D. Huffman of Marysville; mother, JoAnn Pitts and stepfather John Wilson of West Jefferson; his dog, Chunk; grandmother, Jeri Cooper of Marysville; sister, Cortnee (Mike) Miller of West Jefferson; brother, William J. (Ashley) Pitts of London; aunts, Debra (Bob) Petee of London, Susan (Jerry) Dillion of Logan, Patricia (Kenny) Adkins of London, Vicki (Mark) Easterday of Plain City, Debbie (Jim) Boyer of West Jefferson; uncle, David Fife of Springfield; special nieces and nephews, Natalie and Hunter Miller, Adison Pitts; special cousins, Kristal Dillion and Kayla Ware of Logan; three special friends, Mike O’Hara, Shaun O’Hara, Tommy Mead; plus many other friends.
Dean was a big Michigan fan and loved to fish.
He was very active in the community. He would often help his dear friends Joe and Angie Denes during the Ox Roast, and would help string the lights for Christmas at the park.
Dean was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward and Anna Mae Fife; grandfather, Curtis Huffman; and uncles, Robert Fife, and Kenny Adkins.
Family will receive friends from 1:30-3 p.m. Friday, March 30, 2012, in the RADER-McDONALD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 W. Main St., West Jefferson, where Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday. Burial will follow in Somerford Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the West Jefferson VFW after the service.
