Richard Henry, 55, of Springfield, died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012, in Springfield.
Born March 3, 1956, in Camp Pendleton, California, he was a son Herman D. and Ima Jean (Hughes) Henry.
Richard was a senior fingerprint examiner at BCI&I in London retiring in 2006 after 30 years of service.
A member of the Eagles Lodge No. 177, he also was a member of the F.O.P.
Survivors include his son, Chris Henry of Springfield; grandchildren, Kristopher Henry, Angel Henry and Alyssa Henry, all of London; mother, Ima Jean Henry of The Plains, Ohio; brother, Jay (Jacque) Henry of Mineral Wells, West Virginia; nephews, Jeff (Spring) Henry of Rockport, West Virginia and Jason Henry of Mineral Wells, West Virginia; great-nephew, Daris Henry of Rockport, West Virginia; and special pet Beau.
He was preceded in death by his father; and grandson, Delmar Henry.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 3, 2012, in Athens Memory Gardens, Athens, Ohio. Reverend Joel Harbarger will be officiating. Friends may call at the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main St., London, from 5-8 p.m. Friday, March 2.
