Steven Lee Miller, 64, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on May 16, 1947, in Madison County, Ohio, to Harold M. and Virginia (Van Dyke) Miller.

Steve had visited every state in the country except for two.

Survived by wife, Lynn (Hill) Miller; daughters, Leenita (Ron) Elliott of Lewis Center, Lori (Rev. Dean) Baber of South Carolina, Nicole Miller and Shawntee Miller, both of Dayton; sons, James “Chopper” Miller of Dayton; stepdaughter, Deanna “Renee” Caldwell of Dayton; stepsons, Adam Harmon of Tennessee and Bill Harmon of Alabama; grandchildren, Lindsey, Rachel, Emily, Mallory, Sydney, Jessica and Kayleigh; sister, Betty Turner of Kettering; brother, Ron Miller of Dayton; and best friend, Lloyd Rodefer of Dayton; nephew, Pete.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Stan, Roger, Monty “Nuke” and Bob Miller.

Steve’s family invites friends to call at the RADER-LYNCH AND DODDS FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 124 E. High St., London, from 10 a.m. until time of service at noon Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012. Rev. Richard Blevins will be officiating. Interment will follow in Plumwood Cemetery.
