WINNING
Roberta R. Winning, 75, of Marysville, formerly of Plain City, our dear wife, mother, grandmother, sister and best friend went home to her savior, Our Lord Jesus Christ, on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012, at Mount Carmel West, Columbus.
Born Aug. 27, 1936, in Johnson County, Kentucky, the daughter of Payne and Soula (Sagraves) Jackson, both of whom preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Lorraine J. Steinberg.
On Oct. 7, 1975 she was married to Gaylon R. Winning. She was the love of his life and never left each others side.
Roberta spent a great deal of time and resources helping the needy and elderly.
She was retired from Ranco after 38 years of service.
Survived by loving husband, Gaylon R. Winning; son, David B. (Kelly) Reece of Galloway; daughter, Kimberly J. Reece of Dublin; stepson, James (Becky) Winning of Plain City; grandchildren, Meghan and McKenzie Egnor; step-grandchildren, Jake Winning and Tosha Sines; great-grandchildren, Caleb and Ciera; sisters, Phyllis J. Duncan of Plain City and Georgene (Wayne) Kessler of Marysville; numerous nieces, nephew, other family members and a host of friends.
A gathering of friends and family will be held from 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012, with the Memorial Service to immediately follow at 4 p.m. at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 202 E. Main St. (state Route 161 W.), Plain City.
