If the election were held today, who would you vote for in the race for Madison County Commissioner?
I like that Gross isn’t the typical Republican partyline (kowtowing) guy. He seems to care more about the job than the politics, and that’s important to me. He has my vote. Hey RD, this is a primary election – Republicans run against Republicans and one will emerge to run in November against any Democrat or Independent. I’d like to see 3-5 candidates to choose from in every primary for every office.
Splitting the vote among 3 makes it harder for someone to be elected who hasnt paid their way in before.
When is the last time you saw an independent or Democrat run for a Commissioner job in Madison County?
But Politics is Politics isnt it.
I wonder who’s bright idea it was to have 3 Republicans run against one another ????
Why would you want to restrict who is running for office? As long as they are qualified it is good to see the competition in government. The voters will have a choice as to who represents them instead of being selected by a “committee”.
Thats really surprising. I thought Gross had ALL of the connections! But I think Gross’s fresh look at how government is financed, and the administration of government, deserves a longer look!
