In CIA case, Justice to probe death of 2 detainees

The Justice Department inquiry into CIA interrogations of terrorist detainees has led to a full criminal investigation into the deaths of two people while they were in custody in Iraq and Afghanistan, Attorney General Eric Holder announced Thursday.

Roundabouts proposed by ODOT

This is the plan for the first phase of ODOT’s proposed state Route 29 and I-70 intersection project. The first phase will include the use of a roundabout for the state Route 29 intersection north of I-70 at a cost of $5 million. A second roundabout would be added in phase II.

West Jefferson residents were offered an opportunity by representatives from the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) to see how things may look in the future at one of the village’s busiest intersections.
