Gray named first-team all-conference
CHILLICOTHE — Ashland University had seven players named to the postseason All-GLIAC teams, which were announced at the GLIAC Tournament on May 12 evening before the Eagles squared off with Wayne State in the first round.
Third baseman Tyler Gray, a Jonathan Alder graduate, was named to the first team.
Gray had a great year at the plate in just his first collegiate season.
He was second on the team with a .342 batting average, nine doubles and 28 RBI.
He started 46 of Ashland’s 49 games and got on base and a .423 clip.
