Characters from ‘Beauty and the Beast,’ Lumiere, the candlesick, played by Matt Colvin; Cogsworth, the clock, by Sam Spahn, and Mrs. Potts, by Jordan Penix, will serve breakfast at 9 a.m., Saturday, at London High School. The morning meal is a fundraiser for the drama department, which spent four figures to rent the costumes for the performances, March 3-6.

To defray costume expenses, the costumed students will serve breakfast at 9 a.m., Saturday at the high school. The donation for the morning meal will be $5 per person, or $15 per family, whichever is less.
In addition to breakfast, those the younger set, who want to meet their favorite BATB character, the costumed students will be available for photos for a nominal charge.
Teacher/musical director Stephanie Stephens said, costume cost so much so we’re trying to defray the cost. Costumes will be really nice Stephens said.
They should be at $5,000. Stephens said she shopped around and that was “the best price I could find.”
The fundraiser will defray some of that expense.
Tickets for the breakfast will be available at the door. Students will also be selling tickets for the musical, $8, adults, $6 for students/children. Some reserved seats are available at $10, by request. Call Stephens, at 852-5700, ext. 321.
